Why choose that name?

Since the parking situation in Taylor's University can be epic,I choose to reach college around 7.30a.m. everyday so that I can have a decent parking space in the basement but obviously reaching early has it cons too.For example,you'll be the only one there among your friends and the library is not open yet so you can't spam people's walls on Twitter or even use the giant screen Mac PC which I am currently using right now.I still can't reverse park my car cause I worry if I try doing it,I might knock into someone's car or block an oncoming car.I need someone to be in the car with me when I try to reverse park for the 1st time in months.

I'm suppose to read some readings for my Media Literacies course right now but I shall procrastinate by blogging instead of reading!I'll read those reading later or else I'll lose my blogging mood.

I don't think I have ever blog about why my bloglink is called velvettears13 so now I will tell you how on earth I got that name and why that number.

Its called velvettears13 because I had a liking to gothic things when I was in my early years in high school so I went to some gothic name generator website and the name Velvet Tears came out so I just took it from there and I think the name is pretty cool!I put the number 13 beside the name because its my favourite number though its known to be a bad luck number in many cultures but I still like this number and I think I was 13 when I started blogging.

Anyway,the title of my blog is Sweet Temptation because I love sweets and desserts that are sweet and they are very tempting and I just discovered a Victoria's Secret fragrance with that name and its smells awesome too but sadly it has been discontinued and so I can't buy it anymore.T_T.The sub-title of my blog is just a small quote from the movie 'Forrest Gump' which I think is really inspiring to me but maybe I'll change it since it has been there for years.

I'm still thinking of ideas of a new header for my blog and I have a pretty simple and no need to use photoshop way of doing one but hopefully it goes well and you can see it soon!Now I shall go meet Ayesha at Starbucks so ciao!

My current status.

I am absolutely sorry for not updating my blog for more than a week already!I update on my Twitter more often than my blog so that's why my blog is pretty dead now.

My 2nd semester is starting on Wednesday so I will be busy busy and less updates on blog but more on Twitter.Got a screwed up timetable also.My favourite days of the week which is Thursday and Friday has become my most hated days of the week because I have classes on Thursday from 8a.m.-5p.m. and on Friday from 8a.m-6p.m.Of course there are breaks in between and I have a free day on Tuesday.But who wants their free day to be a Tuesday?!I want it on either Thursday or Friday.Thursday would be awesome cause I can get 10 pieces of Swedish Meatballs from IKEA for only RM10.Not like I can go to IKEA every Thursday to satisfy my Swedish Meatball cravings but still Thursday was my favourite day.I love how the meatballs,the sauce and the Lingonberry Jam taste so good together!XD

No Crackle!T_T

I just found out I can't order China Glaze's Crackle polish for now...Oh well,it saves me money!XD.By the way,I just made an impulse purchase which happens to be the most expensive accessory I will ever own.Its handmade by local designers.The reasons I bought this are to support local designers(MALAYSIA BOLEH!) and handmade things and also it would look really nice with my lolita coordinate!I will definitely post up pictures of it and reveal its identity to you all once I receive it!I wonder if my parents read my blog...If they find out about this purchase I got,I AM SO DEAD MEAT!They would probably cut down my allowance!T_T.

I have a soft spot for handmade things...I love buying handmade accessories especially!Lately,I have this obsession with RAINBOWS!OMG ANYTHING THAT HAS RAINBOWS ON IT!!!I am currently,expanding my rainbow collection,so far I have rainbow earrings,hairpins,strap and I am gonna get rainbow socks and this OH SO CUTE RAINBOW HAIRBAND THAT COST A BOMB!RM160!BUT ITS SO NICE!OMG I SHOULD START SAVING FOR THIS!

Moral is done!

Finally I finished my Moral Final exam today which also means I don't need to see or even notice its existence anymore!!!XD.Don't know why the education system here requires us students to learn it again even though we already learned it since elementary school and high school, as if I don't know what the hell moral is. Next up, Malaysian Studies for the next semester!Yay,for another stupid subject!

Few days ago,I asked my dad, where did he put the pictures or videos of my trip around Europe with my mum when I was 12. After digging around the storeroom he found it and I can tell you,you will be having laughing fits after seeing my pictures just like what happened with my dad and younger sisters.You would be so happy to know that from those pictures as you can see later,I was a nerd and I have bad sense of style and I was the quiet emo girl who doesn't have much friends. So the next post will be so funny that you will laugh until you start rolling on the floor cause I look and am a different person now.As much as I don't wanna post these pictures, I want to anyway cause it will be stored here as a memory to me in case i lost the CD and the photos starts to fade. Its also a prove to people that I have really been to these places!XD

True Blood Season 3

I FINALLY FINISHED IT!AFTER MONTHS OF NOT THINKING ABOUT IT THANKS TO BLOODY ASSIGNMENTS. So that's the reason I did not go online for 3days cause I was glued to the TV and the DVD player. I just realized that not going online for a few days can seriously make me miss a lot of birthdays and makes me more paranoid about assignment deadlines because my last few assignments had Monday deadlines.

True Blood season 3 is definitely not the last season! Stupid cliffhanging endings!All of last episodes always end with stupid cliffhangers that drives me nuts!This season is no exception! Sookie disappears with some chick to god knows where fairy land, Sam shots something, Bill versus the vamp queen, ERIC ALMOST GOT CEMENTED ALIVE!Thankfully he didn't die, cause it would totally destroy the whole point of watching True Blood anyway. Eric Northman, real name Alexander Skarsgard is the MOST SEXIEST MAN I HAVE EVER SEEN SINCE JARED LETO! HE BEATS JARED LETO BIG TIME!XD.

I shall drown you all with his sexiness with these pictures!Don't say I didn't warn you!X3

I am not being pervertic but just showing how Alexander Skarsgard has an awesome body that can make me go wobbly at my knees and get me turned on if you add in his voice and the fact that he's 194cm tall!He's Swedish!His piercing eyes...damn,can make me melt instantly!Plus,he was one of the sergeants in the Swedish Navy!He's 34 years old now,I think.

I wonder if he's still dating Kate Bosworth. She's one hell of a lucky woman to be able to date him!Heck,Lady Gaga is lucky enough to be on the bed and kiss him too!

Go Goth by OPI

What on earth is going on with my Silverlight aka laptop?! I just typed a paragraph and after pressing 'enter' all of it dissappeared! Cacatness!

Anyway, before it all disappears again, I was saying I actually received my order few weeks ago but I didn't have the time to post it up. So I ordered OPI's Go Goth Minis collection which is specially out for Halloween coming soon this month and also another different collection for a friend.I am in love with the oh so dark colors!Maybe its my inner goth thing!XD. All of the pictures are taken with my phone camera,Pinky!XD

Pretty packaging and managed to arrive in one piece.

They have some tips on how you can DIY those pattern on your nails using the nail polishes in this collection.

The free cuff bracelet that came together. Its just a simple stretchable lace bracelet,kinda lose on me though.

Too dark to see as much as I tried to use the sunlight to capture the colors.

 Using flash helps a little.The colors from left to right: Unripened,Nevermore,Sanguine and Obscurity.

 these are the swatches.Unripened-a black polish with blue shimmer or tiny blue glitters.
Nevermore-Purple polish with tiny purple glitters. Sanguine-maroon shimmer polish.Obscurity-normal black polish.

I'm currently wearing Unripened,hopefully you guys can see the tiny specks of glitter in the polish under the sunlight.I LOVE THIS COLOR!XD

This nail polish set by OPI is bought from here. Its my second time purchasing from her and she is a trustable seller. The best thing is she packs the products properly using bubble wrap & polystyrene so that it doesn't get damaged and I think her price is reasonable. RM40 for 4 mini OPI polishes. I can get more variety by buying the sets and if I really like the colors then I will buy the normal sized bottle of OPI polish next month only because I made a vow to myself to not shop online for this month!Let's hope that vow stays!XD

I got yelled at by Jaclyn for asking too many questions for 2-3 times for the last weekend cause of the stupid PR assignment which drove almost everyone mad,thankfully I'm done with it yesterday and I'm not gonna recheck it cause I gave up already,whatever that is there will stay there. Her yelling sorta hit me hard but that's what I get for being too inquisitive and reliant on people.Btw,thank you karma for letting a bird poop on my mum's head this morning!XD

I was a cheerleader

And I really enjoyed it and the fact that I auditioned almost every year and finally I was chosen to be in the squad at my last year in high school!I was in the Blue House cheerleading squad and I got a feeling I was not chosen for the past years are because I wasn't pretty,good at anything and the captain's only choose their cliques. Well, lucky I was not in their team last few years cause they didn't even win first place. When I finally got into the squad when I was 17, we actually won first place!XD. Its nostalgic after watching this video. WE WERE WAY AWESOME THAN THEM!XD. Though you can't see me in this video...T_T. Its kinda cool that our video got around 2000 views!XD

Aloha!!! As you can see i'm actually blogging again and now i'm using the blogger droid program,which I just downloaded into my new phone which is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini. I call her Pinko!:-P. Anyway, I got the Johnson's latest body lotion sample from the mail today! it smells awesome,peachy!!! the texture is not too oily or sticky either. Once i'm done with my sample I am gonna get the bigger bottle!!!:-)

MTV WORLD STAGE 2010 IS TOMORROW!

OMG,I CAN SEE TOKIO HOTEL IN THE FLESH AGAIN!!!XD.I can't wait to see Tom with his sexy smile again!Last time I was a table away from touching him,this time I hope I can touch him!Cause I got AFTER PARTY PASSES!!!WOOT!!!XD.But I gotta thank my dad for that,he bought a new phone which is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini on the spot during the MTV World Stage 2010 Roadshow in Sunway Pyramid.By buying the phone,he got 2 concert passes and 2 after party passes!X3

I went for the roadshow for 2 days and the only thing I got is the bluetooth device for phones...-_-lll.I gave that to my dad in exchange for the phone.I seriously hate MTV for making it so hard to win tickets!I even made a poster(will put up pictures later!) and brought my octopus,bunny ears,cat ears and lolita headband!And I learned that I shouldn't lend my stuff to people to win tickets anymore,'kanasai people' win tickets also didn't even bother to give one to me after lending my stuff to them.They won't even win without my stuff!I hope KARMA hunts them down!

But enough about my rage,I can't wait to see THE FAMOUS KATY PERRY TOO!I wonder what's she gonna wear on stage...I heard she's gonna be at the Hilton Hotel,Kuala Lumpur today to meet up with the Fly.fm Pagi Show Crew!I hope its true then you can all go stalk her!XD

Finally Wonder Girls are coming!But I think it will have more impact if MTV invited Girl's Generation instead.I can guarantee you that 3/4 of the audience will be dudes!XD

I wished they brought more artist this year such as Muse,30 Seconds To Mars(Why go Singapore?!),Taylor Swift,LADY GAGA(most probably will get run away like Beyonce and Rihanna thanks to those protestors.-_-lll),JET,Bon Jovi,Madonna,Kylie Minogue,Avril Lavigne,BFW(they will probably get banned.),and brain jammed so actually there's more but I can't recall.BUT PLEASE DO NOT BRING IN JUSTIN BIEBER OR MILEY CYRUS!!!I WILL SERIOUSLY PROTEST IF THAT HAPPENS!

Karaoke with the bunny

Yesterday,got up at 5a.m and reached Fei Sin's house at 7.30a.m. then went to her college at 8.00a.m and I still can't believe that her college looks like a tuition centre and its maintained very badly!But thats what you get when the director is stingy and wants to save as much cost as possible and the fees are cheap too.Every student there spoke in chinese so if you ever throw me there for at least a month,my chinese would probably get better!XD

She has been staying around her college for years already and also made lotsa babies too!She is such a poised lady,just look at how she sits!XD

So we waited till all of Fei Sin's friends reached the college then we went to Petaling Street to meet up with the Photography Club teacher.I am not a student there but I went anyway!XD.Though I didn't understand whatever the teacher said and no one there was kind enough to help me translate so I just went with the only thing I understood,take a picture of 2 things that are opposite with each other.Just so you know,only 3 people are using digital camera including Fei Sin and I while the others are geared with their Canons and Nikon DSLR's.-_-lll.I felt lousy cause I only had my lomo camera and digital one.But screw it!I am a proud lomographer!!!XD

After that Fei Sin's friend dropped us off at Times Square and we meet up with Feh Fan,Wai Kit at Green Box in Sungei Wang Plaza for KARAOKE!!!Miss Bunny aka Chloe was late cause she got con by some people who asked to try out their lucky draw on the way to Sungei Wang.They made her take a cab all the way to Taman Desa to go to their 'headquarters' which looked very fishy according to Chloe and they asked her whether she has an ATM card but Chloe said she didn't have one then she left.ITS SUPER OBVIOUS THAT THEY WANNA CON HER CASH CAUSE THEY ASKED ABOUT ATM CARDS!!!Must always be super careful with all these street lucky draw crap!
