Comic Fiesta and Face Hunter 2010

So Comic Fiesta Day 1 was on the same day that Face Hunter's book signing event(18 December 2010,4-6p.m.)was held!So this is what I wore that I thought that is quite cool IMO.I was bummed out that I didn't win the Face Hunter contest that will let me have a chance to be shot by Yvan Rodic...well,there's always next time I guess.I shall find my personal fashion style until then.

Dress was given by my aunt from the UK,Corset Belt from Sungei Wang RM15,Leggings from flea market RM20,Shoes from adidas RM(I can't remember),Cameo necklace from Finding Snowflakes and Clay Red rose stud earrings from flea market RM10.
Finally managed to match this dress with something cause I was cracking my brains ever since I got this dress!

Met Julie who was in the same foundation course as I am in UTAR!She looks so cute and her doll is adorable!I don't know how she is willing to sacrifice RM1000+ just for that doll...and she's not the only one with a doll in the Comic Fiesta event!0_0.And her hair is real if you're wondering.XP

With Yvan Rodic of Face Hunter!The real reason I went to the book signing was to help Samantha to claim her prize which is his book and to get it signed for her too cause she left for Singapore on the same day.THANK GOD I HAVE AMANDA CHONG WITH ME OR ELSE I WOULDN'T HAVE ARRIVED AT PALATE PALETTE ALIVE TO SEE YVAN RODIC IN PERSON!XD.THANK YOU SO MUCH WOMAN!XD.It took us a monorail ride to Jalan Raja Chulan and a short walk from there to reach Palate Palette Restaurant.But the area is really quiet so best not to go there alone.We were sweating by the time we found the restaurant and my first impression was 'I will need to get used to the stylish fashionable people who don't seem to be very friendly and giving judging looks too'.We walked into the restaurant and thank god there was a nice lady who saw my lost expression and came to help me!THANK YOU NICE LADY!XD

So I got Samantha's book then waited for my turn to get it signed by Yvan.Some people took picture of my shoes and I got interviewed by msn Malaysia Life & Style!Which is the 2nd time cause I was interviewed by them during the La Base launching!XD.Can't wait to see the article on the book signing in msn Malaysia Life & Style!

When it was my turn,he was busy eating some deep fried onion rings/deep fried popiah thing and the first thing I asked him is 'Are you enjoying your food?'...It was out of nervousness so don't kill me for being nervous!And he gave a 'Hmm...' as a reply.Then he asked for my name and I told him I'm helping a friend to get it signed and gave him Samantha's name and this is what he wrote.

I asked him how long is he staying in Malaysia and he said he's leaving the next day.So after he signed my book,I asked to get a picture taken with him and he said ok!Suddenly the girl took a picture with the Fuji Instax Mini 10s-Blue color.Amanda helped me get a picture too!(the 3rd picture)

Actually Samantha was suppose to be in this polaroid instead of me...now I feel guilty!>_<.But I wanted to meet him in person too actually!He takes awesome pictures of awesomely fashionable people all over the world and post it up in his blogs!Didn't know he's so tall and he has beautiful sky blue eyes!I wish I could have told him that he's a real inspiration to me and I really love viewing his blogs and he made me wanna take photography more seriously!Stupid nerves making me regret now!T_T.

Damn its almost 4a.m.!I shall go get ready to sleep now!Then I will probably hit the sack around 5a.m.!Got lotsa cleaning to do tomorrow!Tata~

Book Review:Royal Blood(Ellen Schreiber)

Changed my phone to this one,sadly it is not entirely mine again my aunt borrowed it to me...-_-lll...I can never have a phone that rightfully belongs to me...But I should be grateful that I have a phone...Human wants are always surpassing human needs...XD

ON with the book!Its the 6th book in the Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schreiber.I know its a teenage novel but it doesn't mean that I have to be a teenager to read it.I like the characters in this series especially the heroin(Raven) and hero(Alexander) in this novel.Raven and Alexander is the ideal goth couple that could be admired by goth lovers out there.

In this book,Alexander's parents came back from Romania and everyone in town has caught a glimpse of his parents except Raven.So Raven got impatient and tried to sneak into his mansion again but failed to.One day,she received an invitation to have dinner at Alexander's mansion with his parents.Raven finds Alexander's parents as the coolest people in Dullsville.And if you wanna know more then go get the book!XP

In my opinion,I think this book is not as exciting as the 5th book which is "The Coffin Club".Not much action,and has a lot of cliche scenes which is a good thing!XD.I like some cliche-ness in books!

Books waiting for me~

I got lotsa books to read and they're waiting for me in dark little corner so that I won't get distracted from my studying.OUT OF SIGHT,OUT OF MIND!!!Finals in next week and this whole week I am gonna mug my brains with Social Psychology and Maths for Business and Social Science(in other words Add-Maths).

These are my new babies!Haven't got a chance to read them!

Also quite new but I was reading it halfway,haven't finish it yet.Its bookmarked.I'm re-reading 'A Great and Terrible Beauty' cause I have forgotten the whole story cause I bought this book years ago so the pages are yellowish/brownish already.I lost my 'Alice In Wonderland' book....T_T

Borrowed books but haven't read yet.

Hot CNY!

Bloody hell!Ever since the start of Chinese New Year,the weather got hotter and it didn't rain for days!

It's even hotter in my kampung in Ipoh,Perak!I was sweating under my legs and arms and back even when I was sitting down,which made me pissy at all the little things!My aunt thinks she's a know-it-all which annoyed me and I saw the faces she makes after someone disagrees with her behind their back so gonna be careful with her or maybe just do it back at her.XP

The good thing was 2 ducks appeared in my grandpa's house backyard one day and laid a lot of eggs and grandpa is keeping the ducks now by making a fence at the backyard cause he thinks the ducks bring luck.-_-lll.They feed human food-leftovers to be exact to the ducks...-_-lll.Grandma proudly said,"The ducks are very clever in eating the leftover meat and etc..!".Hopefully the ducks won't die of obesity cause there was plenty of leftovers!


I vow to not gamble this Chinese New Year and I didn't!Let's just say I think gambling is not cool ,rather keep my angpau money in its normal state and I rather sit somewhere and engrossed myself to a good book!

Was reading this book while I was stuck in kampung which has no internet!T_T.Has Astro but always hogged by aunties...-_-lll.The book is quite funny and I recommend it!XD

Had my reunion dinner on Friday due to some unforeseen circumstances with my dad's side of the family excluding emo grandpa at some restaurant in SS2 called Little Paris.The exterior doesn't look like Paris and the food was not French food,its just some Chinese food restaurant.The food was just so-so...

14th February,I decided to go bling-bling this year cause I couldn't find any decent red top for Chinese New Year.

Celebrated my other grandpa's 80th birthday at Overseas Restaurant and the food was not satisfying except for the roasted pork!XD
The balding man in white is my grandpa and he was drunk!XD.Keep re-filing his Hennessy whisky!

Almost the whole family of my mum's side,got more people but didn't come in the picture.The know-it-all aunt is the one in purple sitting beside grandpa.

But the amount of money I got from the angpau's this year has decreased compared to last year eventhough I didn't gamble this year...My blonde Alice wig hasn't arrived yet...

My favourite lecturer passed away due to post martum depression...T_T.May she rest in peace...

Vampire Novels-3=Vampire Academy Series

Its the first book & I love this book and the whole series!XD.OK,I love all my books but this one gets more love!XD.The writer plans to make this series consist of 6 books,which is great at least more than Twilight series which is only 5 books.Its cliche,but I love it!XD

Second Book!Really sad ending.T_T.I don't know why but I like it when a guy has name like Dmitri,Edward,Damien,etc...I find those names interesting!Maybe I will name my son after one of it!XD


Third book!Crap,this book is depressing on the start.Less depressing,more exciting in the climax and its exciting cause there's a not so detailed love-making scene.XD.The ending was really sad!Geez,reading it made my heart broke!T_T.Don't ask but read the book!Its so sad yet it makes you feel anticipated for the next book!

I love this song!XD.Warning,not for the faint-hearted!

Vampire Novels-2=Blue Bloods series

I got my doubts when I got this book,cause the synopsis made it seem like its super cliche.But the cover has grabbed my attention!The black background is actually New York City,cool huh?
I like books with nice covers and catchy titles,it grabs my attention and then I'll read the synopsis.

First thing that came into my mind was is Schuyler a boy or a girl?It sounds like a boy.The synopsis sounds cliche right?But the more you read it,the more it grabs your attention!XD.


Here's the 2nd book in the series!I got the 2nd book cause it was a cliffhanger and I hate cliffhangers!It was getting to the juicy parts also!The cover looks really nice,beautiful mask!And if you noticed the black background this time,its actually Venice!I wanna go to Venice,one day and visit the art museums there with my soulmate or maybe find my soulmate there!*goes on daydreaming*.And in this book,they had a masquerade ball which is so cool!There's was some intense moments that happened during the ball also!But rarely hear any masquerade balls happening in little Malaysia...


3rd book!XD.I only got until the 3rd book only cause the 4th book has not arrived in our small little Malaysia.-_-.The black background for this book is Brazil if I'm not mistaken.That tattoo on the cover,is a mark for the devil a.k.a Lucifer's followers if I'm not mistaken.But that's just in the book,fiction so don't worry if you know anyone that has a star tattoo at the back of their necks!XD.Another cliffhanger!Dang,I need the fourth book!

Vampire Novels-1=Vampire Kisses series

I have been reading 3 different type vampire based kind of books lately and none of it is the Twilight series,I read those books way before they even planned to make a movie out of it...

I sort of loss my interest in normal human romances novels thanks to these books unless you recommend me a really good one,that grabs my attention from the 1st chapter!:-).Gonna get the 'I Love You,Beth Cooper' book once I'm done with my current book which is really soon!Will introduce the 2nd type of Vampire Novel i'm reading in the next entry!I'm such a fast reader that my parents hate me for it!:-P



The first book of the series is called 'Vampire Kisses',which is a compilation of 3 books.It grabbed my attention during the MPH Book Warehouse Sale at some building close to my university and it has a 30% discount also,2nd last book on the shelf so I got it and got hooked to it ever since then!XD.Maybe some of you might find this as a book that only young teens read but I don't give a crap about the age group!Its a good book,funny,attention grabbing,a bit of unpredictable which is good!XD

Its about a girl named Raven Madison,a vampire-crazed goth girl and she's the only goth girl in her small town.Outcast by everyone except her best friend and family.One day,the tall,dark and handsome plus mysterious Alexander Sterling moves into the abandoned mansion on the hill.Who is he?Is he a human?Raven is so intrigued by the arrival of Alexander Sterling to her small town that when her adventures starts...

I didn't get the 6th book yet!But once I do,I will definitely post it up!I'm such a vampire story addict!Even my sisters think I'm crazy!XD

Vampire Knight Chapter 49.

Is sooo...SWEET!I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it!!!XD

Kaname has killed so many people and told so many lies but Yuki still loves him and wants to share his burden together with him and wants to stay with him forever!!!AHHH~~~!!!XD

I was smiling like a psycho when reading the chapter!!!Means I can't stop smiling while reading the YukiXKaname part!!!XD

I think most girls who reads Vampire Knight wished they were in Yuki's shoes for one day to get close to Kaname!I don't mind either!XD
