Crazy host family

Would you be angry after you heard your roommate was taken advantage of?Of course you will!One of the dudes which I will name as Dude A, actually started hugging and kissing her the next morning after 1 night of partying in a club where he started touching her too. Dude,seriously if you just want to have sex with her then say it instead of playing with her feelings. She moved out after I moved out cause she couldn't stand it anymore.

I even have a Facebook argument with Dude A cause he was questioning me on why was I so concern about her?Stupid egoistic men and that's not the worst part. What he said next, was so rude that I swear if I ever see him, I will throw him to the cannibals, wait that's not bad enough, oh well, it'll do.

He actually said this and I quote, "but generaly asian people likes screw,why chinese populatıon ıs very high". He wants to improve his English but I think he should keep it that way, it's so 'funny'. Another quote from the animal himself, "I claım that you and every asıans lıke sex".

He actually said ASIANS.So you tell me, if you will not feel pissed after someone said that to you(if you look at it in the correct use of English)?

Anyway,I thought I will not have to step into that house anymore but I was so wrong. I left a shoe bag under the bed and I only realized it after a week. I was so worried and I kept bugging my buddy, Akin to help me get my shoes back for the entire day after finding out and at first I couldn't tell him why cause he would kill me.

So why was the shoe bag so important that I just have to get it back? No, it's not because it's an expensive shoes or anything, it only cost me RM40 for those shoes. It's because I left my travel allowance inside that bag, all my survival money. Told Akin,the amount, he was like 0_0!!!Then he started to call for back-up in case Dude A wants to throw something at me if he sees me. The entire time,I was praying that they did not find my shoe bag before me and thank all the gods, they didn't and the money was still there. Thank all the gods that Dude A was not there when I went to get it back. I would have ninja-kick his balls if I see him.

Also my dear family did not know anything about this, if they do, they would have killed me through the phone or Skype.

 

Anya, who became one of my closest friends when I was there, said I was the most entertaining person/ Malaysian she has ever met. She couldn't stop laughing after I told her about the shoes and she stills remembers it until today and teases me whenever she gets the chance. She's gonna take that story back to Poland and make sure everyone she knows, will know about the "Malaysian girl and her shoes" story. I miss her a lot, couldn't get to say a proper 'Goodbye!' before she left to travel around Turkey. We used to hang out after work and watch 'The Big Bang Theory' together on her laptop and she got me into 'Pretty Little Liars' too.Hopefully, I get the chance to go to Poznan, Poland to see her again!

One day,we went to check out this cafe near our workplace and I get to try Turkish coffee for the first time, thank god there was sugar or else I would have not be able to drink it. Didn't know that you're not suppose to stir the coffee cause the coffee sands(don't know the correct term) will be spread around.

Yes,I used a straw cause they don't provide spoons and yes,it is like an espresso size-wise and taste-wise too. After finishing the liquid parts,you can actually read your fortune from the coffee sands or get someone who knows how to do it,to do it for you or else it's all just lies to make you happy.

Ate baclava!!!OMG ITS SO GOOD!!!IT'S ONE OF THE THINGS YOU MUST EAT BEFORE YOU DIE!!!

Then, we got free desserts from a waitress cause she thought I was very pretty. Thank you lady! You certainly made my life better after what I went through before!

There's so much more to say but I gotta go!Will continue to share my Turkey experience to you guys soon cause I finished my semester already that's why, I am blogging again!YAYER!!!

I went missing cause I was in ANKARA,TURKEY!

When I was visiting Efes,Izmir.

I know it has been ages but I am back and I flew to Ankara after 1 week of finishing my 2nd semester! So I was rushing to pack and to settle the flights and the AIESEC people from Ankara are so unsure of everything that it just delayed my decision to fly to Ankara also. Parents didn't want me to go cause they are so unorganized and they think Turkey is more Muslim-like compared to Malaysia which is SO NOT TRUE!Everything just passed like a whirlwind and now I am already back in Malaysia!

I REALLY REALLY REALLY x INFINITY MISS TURKEY!!!T_T.I get so nostalgic and sad when I think about all the wonderful experiences I had there with so many wonderful people!So let me share my awesome possum experiences with you all now before I lose my memory which is highly unlikely cause it was too awesome to forget especially the bumps along the way.

Just so you know that I am going to Ankara for an internship with AIESEC called 'Myself,My World' and I was there for 6 weeks and my job was to work in that summer camp project organized by AIESEC Ankara.The project's purpose was so different once I got there compared to what it has stated in the agreement form,for example, I thought it was going to be a more teaching environment but that didn't happen.Basically,we,interns are there to encourage the high school students there to speak English and also help them to improve their English.What happened was they had no schedule planned at all so most of the activities are impromptu and basically stuff for the high school kids to play so that they won't be bored.

So I left Nasi Lemak Land aka Malaysia at the end of May. The first disaster that I have to go through when I reached Ankara's airport is that no one was there to pick me up so bad first impression of the AIESEC Ankara people.IT WAS SO SCARY CAUSE NO ONE WAS THERE TO PICK ME UP AND IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I AM TRAVELING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY ALL ON MY OWN!Luckily,Perinaz,a really nice Iranian student there that actually used my luggage to hold her bag then I talked to her and asked for help.Also thank the gods that she spoke English!So she and her boyfriend who was so sweet to pick her up from the airport actually helped me so much,they went on the bus with me and told me which station to drop off and actually waited until the people from AIESEC Ankara came to pick me up.

So the three people who came to pick me up on the first day are by far,one of the nicest Turkish people I have met and I will never forget them.Their names are Tutku,Idil and Fatih.

Tutku who loves dancing a lot,literally and Gamolly who is my first Egyptian friend who happens to be the most randomly awesome person I have ever met.XD

Idil the beautiful red hair girl and Andreea,my lovely Romanian friend.

Fatih who had to carry my very heavy about 29kg luggage up and down stairs and through traffic and still is my friend.Hahaha,I miss them all!

I was assigned to live with 2 male university students along with Katrina,a unique Chinese girl from China.It was so awkward cause I never lived in a dude's apartment and I had to live with 2 dudes and it was only my first day in Ankara and I expected a proper host family which consists of a mum,a dad and kids so another mistake by AIESEC Ankara.My desire to fly back to Malaysia became stronger,like anymore crappy things happened to me,I will just take the bus to the airport and go home cause the entire family back home was worried and kept asking me to go back if there's anything wrong.

So the dudes which I will name as Dude 1 and Dude 2 brought us to have dinner cause I was starving and it was really late when I arrived so my first meal in Ankara was Kofte.It's like a beef meatball but saltier.It was ok.

I think this was Kunefe,a sweet dessert made with cheese!

Then they took us to visit the huge mosque close to their apartment.It is called the Kocatepe Mosque.

It was so pretty at night!

The dudes managed to get us permission to enter the mosque and we had to cover our hair with a scarf before entering.

Thankfully,Katrina and I share a room to ourselves but for some reasons,the 2 dudes just gave me the bad vibes.It is like my guts are telling me to give a few days and if it is still there then move out ASAP.I moved out after 3 days of staying there.Why you ask?

Reason 1:They are hospitable but not so cause you gotta get ya own food or else there's no food provided.
Reason 2:They are boys so they make my messed up room seemed cleaner for once.
Reason 3:I felt left out and I think it is because they prefer Katrina cause she talks more,therefore helping them to 'improve' their English.Dude,I was helping too by correcting your English.Not my fault that you have a big ego and a short temper and you just ignore me.
Reason 4:They live far away from the office and the only way we can get to the office was by taxi and its BLOODY EXPENSIVE to use the taxi everyday!I have a budget to survive with for 6 weeks so no way I am gonna use it all cause of transportation.

Moving out was the best decision I have made since I landed because what happened a week later was the so terrible that I had to tell you about it in the next post so toodles for now!

6 hours of nothingness

I am such a horrible student for not paying attention in class cause I didn't know the 8a.m class was cancelled today and I drove all the way and waited to found out that the Social Psychology students are using the same classroom as my Media Literacies subject.Jaclyn and I went to the divisional office to complain but there was no one there.The people that is working there should get a pay cut for coming to work late!We waited for 30 minutes or more until someone finally came to work and changed our classes to another class and said they will inform the lecturer.

So we went to the class to wait and lecturer did not appear cause none of us knew that she has a meeting so she cancelled the class.Thanks to that I have a 6 hour break!I HATE THE PEOPLE WORKING IN TAYLOR'S DIVISIONAL OFFICE UNLESS ITS MY FRIENDS.I was having a mental debate to whether to drive home to nap or kill time here.My dislike to driving has made me stay and I wouldn't wanna give up my parking spot.So I basically killed time spamming my Twitter and other people's Twitter wall and almost borrowed a novel from the library cause I was that bored and was wondering around the library aimlessly.

I have 1hour 10minutes left to my next class at 3-5p.m.Seriously,this year's timetable is so screwed up and I don't know why they have to rely on a timetable generator this semester.They should use the money to build more parking lots instead.

I feel like getting more color contacts from the EOS line.Cause I am currently wearing Max Misty Blue and  my friends notice the color a lot so that's a good thing!I plan to either get the green one or grey.I think my eye power has reached 1000.Cause even astigmatism lens are not helping with my vision,its blurring my vision instead.

UNIGLO(in Fahrenheit 88) HAS OPENING PRICES FOR MOST OF THEIR ITEMS AND I'M GOING ALREADY AND NOW I FOUND OUT THAT THE ZARA WAREHOUSE SALE(Held in The Atria in Damansara) IS ON THE SAME DAY!!!FML!!!I WANNA GO TO THE ZARA WAREHOUSE SALE TOO!!!T_T

Moral is done!

Finally I finished my Moral Final exam today which also means I don't need to see or even notice its existence anymore!!!XD.Don't know why the education system here requires us students to learn it again even though we already learned it since elementary school and high school, as if I don't know what the hell moral is. Next up, Malaysian Studies for the next semester!Yay,for another stupid subject!

Few days ago,I asked my dad, where did he put the pictures or videos of my trip around Europe with my mum when I was 12. After digging around the storeroom he found it and I can tell you,you will be having laughing fits after seeing my pictures just like what happened with my dad and younger sisters.You would be so happy to know that from those pictures as you can see later,I was a nerd and I have bad sense of style and I was the quiet emo girl who doesn't have much friends. So the next post will be so funny that you will laugh until you start rolling on the floor cause I look and am a different person now.As much as I don't wanna post these pictures, I want to anyway cause it will be stored here as a memory to me in case i lost the CD and the photos starts to fade. Its also a prove to people that I have really been to these places!XD

Go Goth by OPI

What on earth is going on with my Silverlight aka laptop?! I just typed a paragraph and after pressing 'enter' all of it dissappeared! Cacatness!

Anyway, before it all disappears again, I was saying I actually received my order few weeks ago but I didn't have the time to post it up. So I ordered OPI's Go Goth Minis collection which is specially out for Halloween coming soon this month and also another different collection for a friend.I am in love with the oh so dark colors!Maybe its my inner goth thing!XD. All of the pictures are taken with my phone camera,Pinky!XD

They have some tips on how you can DIY those pattern on your nails using the nail polishes in this collection.

The free cuff bracelet that came together. Its just a simple stretchable lace bracelet,kinda lose on me though.

Too dark to see as much as I tried to use the sunlight to capture the colors.

 Using flash helps a little.The colors from left to right: Unripened,Nevermore,Sanguine and Obscurity.

 these are the swatches.Unripened-a black polish with blue shimmer or tiny blue glitters.

I'm currently wearing Unripened,hopefully you guys can see the tiny specks of glitter in the polish under the sunlight.I LOVE THIS COLOR!XD

This nail polish set by OPI is bought from here. Its my second time purchasing from her and she is a trustable seller. The best thing is she packs the products properly using bubble wrap & polystyrene so that it doesn't get damaged and I think her price is reasonable. RM40 for 4 mini OPI polishes. I can get more variety by buying the sets and if I really like the colors then I will buy the normal sized bottle of OPI polish next month only because I made a vow to myself to not shop online for this month!Let's hope that vow stays!XD

I got yelled at by Jaclyn for asking too many questions for 2-3 times for the last weekend cause of the stupid PR assignment which drove almost everyone mad,thankfully I'm done with it yesterday and I'm not gonna recheck it cause I gave up already,whatever that is there will stay there. Her yelling sorta hit me hard but that's what I get for being too inquisitive and reliant on people.Btw,thank you karma for letting a bird poop on my mum's head this morning!XD

Degree is way different

I sort of got a reality check that my academic way of writing is not so good after I got my marks for my first assignment for one of my subjects, Communication,Rhetoric and Reasoning. I got 58% which is Passing Grade 1 anymore lower I could fail my assignment already. The fact that I have to redo the whole thing because I would get an INSTANT FAIL for my first submission cause I didn't know how to link my arguments and blah blah blah but I'm grateful that my lecturer,Francesca is guiding us the whole way so that I won't get an instant fail.I seriously need to improve my writing and I NEED TO STOP PROCRASTINATING!ITS BAD TILL THE POINT I WON'T SLEEP A DAY BEFORE THE DEADLINE!A lot of people said its normal to do that,but I don't like doing it at all but my laziness get the best of me as usual.-_-lll.

There's small part of me that regretted for taking this course and its still there.I wanted to be an air stewardess before Journalism even came into my mind but I don't think I can meet the requirements because my increasing eye power,for now its 925 for both of my eye and as I stare more into this laptop,it will still increase and contact lens is not helping!I wanna get laser eye treatment but I heard it's not long-lasting and you have to maintain it by going to regular checkups,sadly,parents won't let me work and I am currently studying so there's no way I can make enough money to get laser eye treatment. I am only 160cm I think and to most airlines,it does not meet the height requirement. But there's a catch, if the interviewer asks me, 'Why do you want to be an air-stewardess?' ,then I won't even know how to answer.It happens also when people ask me why I took Journalism instead of the mainstream,Mass Comm subject.

So for now I'm still soul searching,but I am not gonna drop out from my degree because of that,I will be skinned alive by my family then I would be stereotyped as those students who waste parent's money.

Losing my blogging mojo~~~

Anyway,thanks to MTV World Stage,I am now down with the flu,sore throat,cough,fever and body ache.My voice has become husky,I could be a phone sex operator!XP.

Now let me tell you my experience during the whole event!

First,I was waiting in line to get inside and since I only had normal tickets I have to wait longer and while waiting the weather went from sunny to heavy rain so therefore I was already wet from head to toe before they even gave me the raincoat.My stupid mascara from Etude House actually smeared like crazy so i have to wipe my whole face with tissue already soaked in rain water.Waterproof my ass!FML No.1!

Got pass the security check and wore the rain coat and rushed to the venue,got my shoes wet and waited under the rain for an hour then only Bunkface came out.
Not so jumpy here~

After that,waited for another hour for Wonder Girls.Their opening was awesome!They broke out from cages!Crap,I sound so jakun here!XD

They sang 2 korean songs from their latest album which I don't know the title,then they sang 'So Hot',Rock version of 'Nobody','Tell Me','2 Different Tears' and they sang mostly in English.

After Wonder Girls,waited for more than an hour for Tokio Hotel.They even announced that,they are willing to perform for us even when they have technical difficulties but obviously they can't cause they could get electrocuted.This is why I love TOKIO HOTEL!!!XD.Seriously,I hope one day they will arrange the audience according to height cause we short people can't see!!!FML No.2!

The songs they sang are 'Human Connect to Human','Dogs Unleashed','Humanoid','Alien','Monsoon','Darkside Of the Sun','Automatic','World Behind My Wall','Forever Now',and 'Zoom Into Me'.That's all if I'm not mistaken.

After Tokio Hotel,some of the crowd left while some stayed for Katy Perry which started 1 hour later...They seriously love to make people wait under the rain!

Lotsa people left after Katy Perry but there was still one last performance from Wonder Girls again!XD.They sang 'Nobody' mixed with some Korean and English!And they said they are coming back to Malaysia!XD.Ye Eun said 'Saya cinta kamu!' which means I love you in Malay which drove the men wild!XD.

The concert ended at around 1a.m. which is way longer than they have predicted.They predicted the concert to end at 10p.m.So after Wonder Girls I have to quickly change to new clothes and head to~~~
